The TRUTH about Alkaline Water / Ionizer Machines - Beware of FAKE "Consumer Reports" with Misleading Information!

Many people who don't understand water ionization (as most people understandably do not) fall prey to marketing tactics by unscrupulous companies that try to give misleading information about water ionizers they view as direct competition. Please be very careful when you do your research on water ionizers. When you do, you will find that the entire first page of Google is blanketed by advertisers who try to pose as "unbiased reviewers." They have videos and  "comparison charts" with very inaccurate and misleading information (these inaccuracies can be easily verified)!

If you look at their reviews on Amazon, it will appear that they have glowing reviews. But if you actually click on these reviews, you will see that almost all of these reviewers suspiciously have only one or two reviews. Even more telling is the fact, for example, Life Ionizers has 130 reviews, and not a single one is verified.    It seems hard to believe that there are companies out there that could go this far to lie to the public (especially a company that goes out of it's way to make up lies about the only medical device that is actually certified medical equipment), but... sadly, it happens, and it seems like a crime that people fall for their deceptive practices, when people's lives are at stake. Ironically, their markup for their cheap machines which do not use medical grade parts (and can be dangerous), is significantly higher than the machines that are certified medical equipment and used in hospitals.

To give you a COMPLETE understanding of why certain machines work better than others, please watch the videos below. THEN you will see why some companies go out of their way to slam and bash other companies... because it's often the only way they can get people to buy their machines!! Companies with machines that aren't good enough to be sold through word of mouth, have to find different ways to sell their machines, and sadly, some companies will stoop pretty low to do this. They pay thousands of dollars per month to Google AdWords to bash the machines that actually do work. But a company that actually offers certified medical equipment doesn't need to advertise!

The people who work for these companies are very, very convincing on the phone. They're warm and friendly and will make up facts just to get people to buy their brand. Unfortunately, there are many people who have make the mistake of buying those machines, only to learn that their machines didn't produce high quality water, or the machines broke (and couldn't be returned or they got the run-around) because it was written in the fine print that the warranty would be voided if they ran too much water through them. Many consumers don't realize they will be charged a huge restocking fee when they try to return the machine (almost $600... even if the box is UNOPENED). Ironically, the company that charges the highest fee is the same one that tries to bash the company with the really good water, and say that their restocking fee is lower. It's not true.

Sadly, when a person loses $2000.000 or $3,000.00 (trying to save about $800 on a water ionizer) they often find that they no longer have the funds to buy the machine that actually would work. Many people simply give up on the idea that the right water really ccould help them, and it's really a shame.

There are several companies that try to pass themselves off as having unbiased "Consumer Reports." Please be VERY careful when purchasing water from companies that try to pass themselves off as unbiased third parties. Make no mistake... they are trying to get you to buy their water machines!  And please ask yourself if you would really want to do business with companies that give false or misleading information, in order to make a sale. We advise you to do as much research as you can, before making a purchase.

Again, there are many people who have bought machines from these companies have ended up returning them (and got the runaround trying to do so), or found out that they could not be returned because it's in the fine print of the warranty, that the "lifetime warranty" is voided if there are too many minerals in their water OR if they run more than a few gallons of water per day. Some people have also experienced toxic chemicals (cheap alloys) leaching into the water, which made them sick.

There are many water ionizer reviews that try to appear like they're written by Consumer Reports.  But they are NOT!

Please watch the following videos before you choose to buy a water ionizer. If you buy a water ionizer that either breaks or leeches toxic chemicals, you are going to pay a much higher price in the long run. And you don't want to pay that price with your HEALTH. Many people have tried to save money by buying cheap water ionizers that simply do not produce the same quality of water as you can get from devices with medical certification. Please be sure to ask to see a copy of the warranty, before making your purchase. A lifetime warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on, if it's easily voided.

Some companies like to make it sound like the more expensive, medical grade machines have an inflated markup due to multi-level marketing. When in actuality, they are the ones giving a more inflated markup. Machines made with SMPS technology cost approximately 300 to 400 dollars to manufacture. So, when they are re-sold at $2,000 or higher, these companies are marking up the product at about 500 percent.  Whereas a machine from Japan with medical grade parts and medical certification costs around $1200 to manufacture. When it's sold for $3980, you can see the marketing budget for the machines is approximately 70 percent of the total price.

Every person who is considering purchasing a water ionizer should watch these videos in order to make an informed decision.  The majority of people don't understand the process of ionization, or why some machines are more effective than others. These videos will show you just about everything you've ever wanted to know about water ionization!

You will see that the Real Consumer Reports organization discloses their information on their website.  Their business name is Consumers Union of U.S..

Other websites, such as AlkalineWaterIonizers.org (pictured below), throw in the term "Consumer Reports" - which deliberately leads many consumers to believe they are related to the truly unbiased Consumer Reports company.  This is simply NOT TRUE.

If you look up AlkalineWaterIonizers.org in the Whois database, you will see they have done a private registration so you can't actually see the name of the registrant.  You can see it for yourself, HERE. However, the address listed for this site is 14747 N Northsight Blvd, Suite 111, PMB 309.  To see what comes up when you google this address, CLICK HERE. 

 

 

 There are other sites that claim to reveal the "Facts and Myths" about ionized water. 

Well, this website certainly contains its fair share of the "Myths."

Some companies try to use Scare Tactics to keep you from buying certain machines. 

Sometimes they jump to conclusions, but more often than not, they post slanderous information in order to keep you from purchasing a medical grade machine (which is the most popular because it works!)

For example, they may try to scare you into thinking that machines which use "Electrolysis Enhancers" (made with Sodium Chloride and Sodium Hypochlorite) are dangerous. When, in fact, Sodium chloride is basically just made from SALT (see google definitions below). And Sodium Hypochlorite is basically made by dissolving salt in softened water. While it's true that you probably shouldn't drink it straight out of the bottle, like you wouldn't drink salt water, it's nothing to be alarmed about. 

Uninformed companies like to post pictures like these:

 

 But when you do your research (even just a basic google search)... 

you will find that these chemicals are nothing to be afraid of.

What is sodium hypochlorite?

Sodium hypochlorite is produced by dissolving salt in softened water, which results in a concentrated brine solution. The solution is electrolyzed and forms a sodium hypochlorite solution in water.  

Feel free to look these things up for yourself, on Google. For example, when you google "What is table salt made out of," you will get the following response:

 

There is an automatic flushing feature that medical grade machines have, which alerts the 

user to flush the pipes after acidic water is made, so that there will be 

NO SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE in the drinking water.

But for anyone who is even remotely afraid this could still happen somehow, you should know that bleach is actually considered safe to use in drinking water (in small amounts)... 

and sodium hypochlorite is just one of the ingredients in bleach. 

You can see the following information on this water report for the wealthy town Mark Zuckerberg lives in. 

The report recommends treating stored bottled water   

with sixteen drops of  bleach, per gallon, before drinking.

Don't let companies scare you into thinking sodium hypochlorite or 

sodium chloride is a bigger deal than it is. 

Many people have used a recipe of plain, non-iodized sea salt and 5.5 acidic water to make the same strong acidic solution, and it will have the same effect and same strong bleach smell.  

If you are STILL worried that there could be any "bleach" left in the water, you can easily test the water with drops that will SHOW YOU there is no bleach or chlorine in the water.

The bottom line is, if a person would prefer not to use solutions that come with the machine, they don't have to use anything at all, because NO solutions whatsoever are needed to make the 

ALKALINE DRINKING WATER!

The acidic 2.5 water is used in hospitals to treat MRSA, e Coli, gangrene, 

bed sores, psoriasis, eczema, acne, nail fungus, athlete's foot and more. It is just an extra "bonus feature" 

of some machines, but you don't have to use this feature. 

But even if you do decide to use it, there is nothing to worry about. 

Again, if your machine is medical grade, and it has automatic cleaning and flushing feature, 

it was built so that ALL of the acidic water will be flushed out before you make drinking water again.
